Happy Hour raises glasses and $800 for water project
A big thank you to all who took part in the happy hour event which raised nearly $800 for EWB Syracuse’s water infrastructure project. It was a great success complete with vegan tacos, cold beer, and EWB’s own Dan Kahn putting on a great show.
We couldn’t do this without all of your support. At this point, we are over 60% to financing our project. Thank you everyone and we hope to see you at the next one!

EWB Syracuse and ArtRage Gallery team up to raise funds for water supply project
The Syracuse Professional Chapter of Engineers Without Borders and ArtRage Gallery presented “La Camioneta” by Mark Kendall. The film follows the journey of a decommissioned school bus from the United States to Guatemala.
Kendall’s film takes the viewer on “a journey between North and South, between life and death, and through an unfolding collection of moments, people, and places that serve to quietly remind us of the interconnected worlds in which we live.”

The screening helped to raise awareness and $500 for EWB-Syracuse’s potable water project in Guatemala. Thanks to ArtRage for hosting, and to all those who came out!
